We were very sad to hear the news about the lovely Evnur. Evnur, and the de Boursacs as a family, stood out amongst the many families whose children we have taught in over a quarter of a century. 'Scatterly' Natalie and Peter the Mathematician were a joy to teach at Tanglin. Anita and I fondly remember a meal we shared with Evnur and Nicholas shortly before repatriating to the U.K and I still have a letter Evnur kindly wrote to Ron Stones after I had completed a year's teaching with Peter and Natalie. It is rare to have met someone with such warmth and generousity of spirit. I was so pleased to have had the opportunity to speak to Evnur from Hong Kong earlier this year. Nicholas, Natalie and Peter: you will be very much in our thoughts in the coming weeks and we are sorry that we were unable to join you in Turkey to celebrate a special life.
