I met Evnur at Sussex University in Brighton UK circa 1980. She did her MA in Economics with several friends of mine, students from Japan, Korea, Costa Rica and Mexico. I was very impressed by her economics knowledge and friendly attitude always. I was doing an MPhil in Development Studies and for sure she attended some classes and seminars with me. I never saw her again after Sussex. A Mexican friend that did the MA with her shared her last name and searched in google in 2013 to learn that she passed away in December 2012.
